Waypoint kicks off SDCC coverage

Orbidome - 6 men enter...

Look Before You Leap 3
Jump Theory is back with Look Before You Leap 3, a new collection of jaw-dropping jumps in Halo 3 multiplayer maps. Absolutely, absolutely worth watching. (It's available on YouTube, but the gorgeous 720p downloadable is currently only available on MegaUpload... sorry.) (There are two versions of this video - a public version, and a Sponsors-only version with an extended ending... an ending that raises some questions.) Go watch! Dutchy Montage 2
RVideo pointed us to Dutchy's Montage 2 (edited by ExuS) at Halo3Forum.com - he described it as "easily the highest quality montage I have ever seen on H3F." Now, I've watched a LOT of montages, and I have no idea if I could make such a statement at this point... but I will definitely agree that the overall quality is amazingly high. Everything from the gameplay to the montage timing to the editing effects is professional-quality. It's long (11 minutes or so)... but absolutely worth a watch. There's a streaming link - but if you've got the bandwidth, you really want to download the half-gig HD WMV. It's gorgeous.

A couple of days ago, 'Banished to Garry's Mod' was released - behave badly enough in Halo Matchmaking, and you could end up in a very unpleasant place. Nice cross-game machinima work by Ze Royal Viking!

Phurion Fluxy 2 - A Halo 3 Dualtage
Phurion Fluxy 2 is the sequel to a highly-regarded montage released a couple of years ago. Music is a bit rough to listen to, but editing and effects are top-notch. TSL Interviews OK Go
As mentioned in the recent Podtacular episode with Chris Burke, This Spartan Life's interview with OK Go went live on Halo Waypoint yesterday. It's a fantastic discussion of the creative process, and how that's changing with social networking... but the highlight of the video, for me at least, was a spectacular merging of a cool remix of OK Go's 'This Too Shall Pass' with an incredible Rube-Goldberg map created by our very own pete_the_duck. Customs Clan Does Halo 3
What happens when a group of fans get together and decide to see how funny a cutscene can be if the dialogue is redone with odd voices?
