Jenkins, then and now
NeoGAF's MrBig pointed out a YouTubeDoubler page showing a side-by-side comparison of the beginnings of the Pvt Jenkins cutscene in the first Halo (putting the original up against the Halo Anniversary version). Looking at them side-by-side, I DO see a difference in tension and pacing that I hadn't noticed before!

GameTrailers GC and TGS vids
ZZoMBiE13 pointed out a few vids at GameTrailers, courtesy of Gamescom and the Tokyo Game Show - there's an interview with Dan Ayoub, recorded at Gamescom (we MIGHT have covered this already; I'm not willing to watch through the half-dozen interviews Dan gave to OTHER news outlets to figure out if this is original or not), there's a copy of the Headlong video we mentioned yesterday (in case you aren't happy with IGN's player), and there's some off-screen footage of gameplay on Installation 04, the new Firefight map. This is how we do it faster
The Weekly Challenge this week is actually FUN - after doing so many LASO runs, Reach Campaign on Heroic is a romp (I ran through the first six levels in a couple of hours last night)... but if you're short on time, and you just can't live without those 30,000 credits, Nak3d Eli shows you how to glitch this one in under 10 minutes. (Just a side note, though - cheating like this makes David Ellis cry.)

Angry Spartans
