Life is a Game
NeoGAF's mastrbiggy pointed out a Halo: Reach 'funtage' (with a couple of Halo 3 clips) from Bang Bang TV, a french group - it's not like other montages. It's Halo... through the lens of the other games you grew up with. And it's fantastic. You can turn Closed Captioning on if you really need the translation on the few French words shown in the video... or you can just sit back and watch. It's 14 minutes long, and I, like many others, said "I'm not watching the whole thing!" at the start... only to watch the whole thing. It's great.

Jake Wheeler has created 'Astronomic' - a video which shows the epic scale of the Halo universe. (His post contains links to two versions - you pick the one you'd rather watch.) RVideo was the first to point out Global, a new community montage from Mattisson. There is some pretty amazing editing on this one, coupled with great gameplay and astounding audio synching - my only real complaint is that some of the clips are too short to really get a handle on. BesTMaN - Halo: Reach Minitage
RVideo sent word of a new minitage from BesTMaN, with editing by Chaos. I could do without the minute-long intro and the 30 outro on a sub-five-minute video... but the gameplay's great, and the editing is pretty fun to watch. (I'm not a huge jetpack fan, but the 360° beatdown on Countdown seems like a fantastic use of the AA.) Go check this out - and hope you don't meet BesTMaN in matchmaking.
