Halo 4 Forge | Parody ViDoc

Maptastrophe - the tributes continue
In 2006, Insidi0us gave us Maptacular - an incredible romp through the original Halo multiplayer maps, with a lot of care on clean transitions and consistent scoring/weapons. A couple of years later, BigV1027 paid tribute with Maptrocity, a similar jaunt through Halo 3 maps. (Not quite as clean, but still a lot of fun.) Today, DefendTheHouse (the folks behind the spectacular Halo Mythbusters videos) released Maptastrophe, their vision of this concept realized in Halo 4. (Thanks, Nando13.) I love the idea. UrDoingItWrong! Ep 2: Make Love Not War
Clicked released a new UrDoingItWrong video - these are challenges from the community, to be handled in Matchmaking. This one required that he play a game of SWAT without shooting - hugs (erm, punches) only. He does surprisingly well, for a gametype that requires only one headshot to stop him... but his team still loses. A fun watch nonetheless. Thanks, CyReN.

We got word of two separate machinima releases today - HAL0 M4N has posted the 14th episode of his Halo Reach Zombie series, Requiem, while Maniacxxl and Crzymnky069 put together Breach, a Halo 4-based story of flag capture and rednecks. For the Love of Halo 4
Not sure how we missed this when it was released back in November, but Jesse Cale wrote a song called 'For the Love of Halo 4' - and posted a video... with a little help from Nak3d Eli. (If the name doesn't sound familiar... you've probably heard his music before. He's responsible for the soundtrack of the Master Chief vs Leonidas Epic Rap Battle last year.) Mini-Covies, Revisited
We've seen mini-Covies on Spartan Ops before - and we know it's not a bug... but we don't really know what causes it. Recently, CrazedOne1988 and friends encountered it again on Ragnarok, and got some pretty fun footage. (I liked the closeups... and I liked the rubber-banded corpse at the end.) I go rampant on that junk
I stumbled across a YouTube account called 'fatfinger' - has some pretty funny game-related animation. Two of their videos are Halo-specific: Video Game Therapist was released last November, and has Chief and Cortana working out some... issues, while GameStain - Halo 4 (out this week) shows us what Halo 4 brings to the table. Halo Waypoint has a video called 'Making of the UNSC Raptor: Pt 1' - it shows off what Galpin Auto Sports did to build the custom Ford F150 Raptor that will go to the winner of the Infinity Challenge. Breaking Halo 4: Tactical Jetpack Out of Adrift
Nak3d Eli has kicked off a new video series - he calls it 'Breaking Halo 4'. It's all about finding glitches in Matchmaking maps... and the first episode looks at an invisible walkway (well, probably more than one) on Adrift. Normally, we'd stay away from stuff like this, but if you get beaten because of this glitch, you deserve to know what actually happened. Here's hoping it gets fixed soon. Thanks, MrGreencastle.

I thought you'd be taller
kornman00 stopped by yesterday to show off a video containing some fun mods for Halo 4. (You can't use these unless you're willing to mod your Xbox 360 - but you can certainly watch videos.)
