Dimension X, Season 3, Episode 1
CROSSFIRE stopped in with word of a new season of Dimension X, the machinima series from Blood Signature Films. (I'd never seen these before - but apparently the first season was almost 5 years ago.) The cinematography on this new material is quite good, and the story is intriguing. The three parts of Episode 1 are hefty downloads (700 mb for the lot), but you can stream them if the downloads are too much. (Louis Wu 12:06:23 UTC)

Wednesday Movie Mania
Lots of videos for you to watch, courtesy of the BungLog™:
- ChrisOfTheDead is back with Shenanigans 5 - it's like previous Shenanigans, but different. (Well, different clips, anyway.) Music by Electric Six this time out.
- The VLU put together a LoLtage. The music they used was from the A-Team... I'm thinking they'd have been better off with the soundtrack from F-Troop.
- Shadierliam shows off a different way to the top of the Crow's Nest lift. (Doesn't seem to gain you much, but it IS some nice jumping.)
- JonCJG has released a teaser for the next Arby 'n' the Chief - short, a little scary.

One Life Remaining: Season 1 Episode 1
JonCGJ released a trailer for a new machinima series a couple of weeks ago - but we didn't hear about it until this morning, when urk posted a link to the first episode of the series on Bungie.net. RvB PSA: Fire Safety
Last night was a standard release night for a Red vs Blue video - but because it was the fifth week of the new series, we got a PSA instead of a standard episode of Recreation. This Spartan Life Episode 6
It's been a long time since we've heard from Chris Burke, and the machinima series 'This Spartan Life' - but Episode 6 has been released, in advance of the completion of Episode 5. (Sometimes these things happen.) The guest is Katie Salen, who works on game design (you can read more about her here), and the interview, interspersed with TSL's normal wackiness, is pretty interesting. It's 14 minutes long - swing by and watch! (QuickTime version is up now, WMV should be available in short order.) Chris is still working on finishing up Episode 5 - he's run into some snags with Microsoft licensing. Here's hoping they get worked out soon!

- The Ghosts of Onyx community has created a Rocket Race montage - 10 minutes of mongooses and rockets.
- Herbal T created a Halo 3 Minitage that will have you checking your monitor for damage for the first 15 seconds... and then reaching for the dramamine for the remainder of the 3.5 minutes.
- The 405th's LeeKegan created a beautifully-working replica of the M6G Magnum, and is sending it to Bungie - check out the vid for full details.

Change of Scenery
Pierre Tartaix pointed us to Change of Scenery, a new machinima created by TGO GMBH. I have absolutely no idea what happened during this film... but the cinematography was great, the music was great, and the dialogue was at times very funny. Queso Man 6
Queso Man has whipped up a sixth montage - nice gameplay, liberally mixed in with moments of self-ownage. I particularly liked the betrayal at the top of Blackout, in the midst of a sniper spree - clearly, that grenade to the back of his teammate's head mean "GET THE HELL OUT OF MY WAY".
