Smells Like Ranch Bugles

Thursday Movies
Beginning of stuff missed because nobody was home at HBO HQ for most of Thursday:
- Master Chief Theater 3000 Episode 406 covers the cutscenes from ODST's NMPD HQ level. Your mom jokes and funky Brute dialogue.
- Alec944 created his fourth montage by culling good clips from the community files.
- There's a contest where you can send in a cool screenshot, with a caption that reads "Where ________ Happens" (you fill in the blank), and win a spot in the next one of these vids. Sort of cool, if you'd ever heard of these vids...
- Simple As That is a Halo 3 montage from Inxy - I really liked this one. Great footage, nice composition.

Halo: Reach Preview from G4
G4TV has put up a 'Halo: Reach Preview' - it's footage from Bungie's ViDocs, mixed with interview footage of Marcus Lehto recorded at X10; if you've been voraciously consuming every tidbit on Reach as it comes out, there's nothing new here, but if you're not paying close attention, it's a nice 2 minute summary. - One Hit One Kill is a goosetage from Gorillars. Splatters and brokeback action.
- Into Yesterday is a Halo 3 montage from jEEborz - filtered sounds and filtered video.
- Till I Collapse is a high-energy montage from Cydronix - lots of multikills.

Fanmade RvB Reconstruction Trailer
MattDratt created a two and a half minute trailer for Red vs Blue's Reconstruction series (which originally ran from May through October of 2008) - it gives away a tad too much (in my opinion) to be great for folks who haven't seen the series yet, but is nicely frenetic, and fits the style of current movie trailers pretty well. If the US army owned Halo3
Toxic Mayhem pointed out a video that went up on YouTube just a few days ago - but it was clear that it's a much older vid, so I did a little digging. Apparently, it was originally released in September 2007, just before Halo 3 came out. (We missed it then.) Regardless, it's funny - go give it a few minutes of your time. (Louis Wu 15:37:06 UTC)
