Cloak and Dagger
So every Monday (almost), Rooster Teeth releases a new episode of Red vs Blue Season 12. This past Monday was no exception... but we're just getting to letting you know about it now. We suck. But they don't. This episode is... well, you should watch it. Episode 9 was all about setup - Episode 10 is the punchline for all that. And let me tell you... it packs a wallop. Pay close attention to the music, and you might actually figure out what's going on before it's revealed. Great stuff.

Halo 3 Cut Cinematic - Orbital Scarab
gamerguy2002 stopped in with another found tidbit - this one was unearthed by Gamecheat13, and shows a little perspective cinematic from Halo 3 that never made it into the final game. Pretty cool!

Cut 'Schism' mode in Reach's Firefight

They should hire that guy as a tester.
Wow. This video was released by Nowise10 back in April... but I totally missed it until now, when scarab pointed it out. It's a collection of 75 glitches in Halo: Reach - some are things you may have noticed, some are things you'd only see if you were breaking outside of the normal playspace. All of them are clearly bugs that SHOULD have been fixed, had Bungie had infinite time and resources. I'm betting that many of them were known before launch... but sometimes you just have to ship it. I love this stuff, partly because it shows how insanely complicated and rich these games are... and how dedicated fans are to finding things that don't work as planned. (Louis Wu 21:44:08 UTC)

The Federal Army of Chorus
Even though they were all crazy-busy with RTX this weekend, Rooster Teeth still posted Episode 9 of Red vs Blue Season 12 on Monday. The entire Chorus conflict is reframed for Agent Washington and his crew... things to chew on. It's a long 'un... almost 15 minutes. Go watch, so you're ready for Episode 10!

You got Halo in my Political Protest!
So both DeGrouch, on our forum, and Richard Beer, via email, let us know about a new video from Greenpeace... but for different reasons. DeGrouch pointed out that the Master Chief makes an appearance, 11 seconds in. Richard Beer felt that the entire thing was inspired by the Halo 3 Believe diorama. Either way, watching it will give you a sense for why Greenpeace wants you to convince LEGO to break off their partnership with Shell Oil. (No, that part's not Halo-related.) (Louis Wu 18:22:10 UTC)

Summer Games Done Quick - Full Halo Run Now Archived
If you, like me, allowed goatrope's speedrun of Halo PC, performed for charity a couple of days ago, to pass you by without tuning in, shame on you! (And on me!) However, Ibeechu stopped by with links to rectify the problem. You can still donate (SGDQ is still running!), or you can just jump over to YouTube and watch goat go. It's a really, really enjoyable experience; goatrope does an amazing job of commentating as he's running, and STILL manages to focus on the tricks he's performing to shave time off. He didn't beat the world record for a the full game Legendary run (he set that himself a few weeks ago), but he still went sub-2-hours for the full run... amazing! (Ibeechu also put together a highlights reel, which is funny but not really a highlight reel.)

Cleaning up odds and ends
A couple of rough days at the homestead means limited online time; let's catch up. gamerguy2002 pointed out a new vid from Lord Zedd - more digging in the code for Halo 4 has turned up a few unused pieces of armor in the code - swing by to see 'em. (They're pretty similar to existing stuff, which might be why they weren't used.)

AI Battle - Flood Tank vs Hunter

SC Ascent - Augmented
On Friday, Rockslider stopped in with a new vid - it shows you how to increase the number of enemies you face on the way up at the main facility on Silent Cartographers, in order to add spice to the fight.
