McFarlane Reach Figures
Dielectric pointed out that G4TV was only one of the sites that showed off new McFarlane figures yesterday - there are also new images at Spawn.com (Mark V Spartan, HAZOP Custom Spartan), UGO (Jorge, another HAZOP Custom), USA Today (another Mark V), and Halo Waypoint (Noble 6 and yet another HAZOP Custom). What could have been
The MTV Multiplayer Blog has some interesting tidbits gleaned from Brian Jarrard during a play session last week - Bungie had considered a "Halo 4", telling the story of the Master Chief after he woke up from the cryosleep he entered at the end of Halo 3. (The ide never really made it out of pre-production.) And Reach will not "open up a whole bunch of doors that [they're] not going to close" - this is good news, given that they're moving away from Halo! Go read the details. (Louis Wu 14:33:44 UTC)

Friday's Fan Fiction News
The Fan Fiction section has been augmented with six new pieces - go read 'em! Also on the fanfic front, we got word from MaxRealflugel that a consortium of Bungie.net groups (FanFicFactor, The Mirratord and The Writing Guild) have gotten together to put together a fan-created fan fiction/fanart collection called Revolutions. (Yes, it's modeled after Halo: Evolutions.) It should be available this fall in PDF format. When it's been released, we'll let you know! (Louis Wu 13:55:56 UTC)

Fall of Reach, in Comic Form
Jon Goff pointed out an article on HaloWaypoint.com - apparently, Marvel Comics will be releasing an adaptation of 'The Fall of Reach' this September. Fleshing Out Wire Frames
Wow, cool beans. Bungie's got a guy on staff doing mocap - and when he needs a prop weapon, he builds one. Well... the frame of one. Because it's mocap, and there's no need for the whole thing. (Well, they've been calling for bug reports during the entire beta - but in this case, they're looking for some very specific information, and need it in a very specific format.
