Recreating Halo Characters in Halo 4
In preparation for the release of the Champions Bundle, Asian Inferno (Felix Mui) has compiled a list of Halo characters to recreate using Halo 4 armor permutations. Felix did something similar for Halo 3 back in 2010. The list will be updated once the new DLC is out. Check it out!

HFFL LAN Event - Celebrate!
If you're in the Pittsburgh area (or will be in mid-September), you might want to block off September 14 - HaloFanForLife Sal Salerno will be hosting a special Halo LAN party to celebrate his site's 2-year anniversary. Full details are on his website, but the key facts are:
- Takes place from 5-8pm
- Costs $15 (you get pizza and drinks)
- Special guests include Podtacular's Dust Storm and MLG Pro GH057ayame

If Only 'Carter' Was On the Back of His Jersey
An image came across the Facebook page of the National Football League this morning and I did a bit of a double-take. I think Halo fans will understand why. We're humbled.
Occasionally, we get thank-you notes from fans - and we always appreciate them. Sometimes, though, the sentiments expressed and the timing of the arrival combine to make things special - and that happened today. A fan, choosing to be known as Jon, let us know why he was happy we were around. PyroSporker16 pointed out a pretty rare piece of Halo memorabilia being sold right now on eBay - it's Combat Evolved welcome mat, never used. I vaguely remember seeing one of these before - but it's definitely not a common item. Currently at just over $100, but there are still 4 days left on the auction. Check it out! HALOcapped Ep 6 - Plasma Pistols, Autosentry CTF
MixMaker1 stopped in with word of another episode of HALOcapped - his team attempted to win a game of CTF on Skyline using nothing but Plasma Pistols and Autosentries. Their self-imposed rules said no melees - Mix was much better than his teammates at sticking to this. The Dead Serious Tage 2: Vol.1
RVideo sent us yet another Halo montage - this one is called 'The Dead Serious Tage 2: Vol. 1', was put together by SirTopEmHat, and weighs in at nearly 20 minutes. It's not quite that... the first three and a half minutes are intro, and the last two and a half minutes are credits, and the whole thing is really entertainingly filmed.
