Matt's Halo update for January 26
Eep - sleep, the enemy of the site updater. Matt Soell sent in his weekly Halo update... but we were slacking. Here, then, is the latest and greatest - or make use of our new Halo Update Database! There's some good stuff in there today - the jeep has a new gun, there are now sleeping alien models, the programmers play an R-rated version of 'horse' (what IS that word, anyway?)... go check it out! Wha...? I'm right here, ya bastard. I've been doin' your dirty work (and your laundry) for months now... 'remedial web maintenance' my arse. See if your precious SETI stats get posted while you're gone, ya skinflint. Hey... while I'm here... we just learned there's ANOTHER Polish Halo site out there... Sebastian 'DZASKUL' Jaskula tells us that fpp Halo have been online for quite a while. What's the deal with all these Polish sites, anyway? Anyway, go check it out. Colors are easy on the eyes. Another interview about PlanetSide - lots of details
Again, not totally Halo-related, but PlanetSide has been generating quite a bit of buzz recently on some of the Halo sites... Kevin McCann gave another interview yesterday, this time to PC IGN, and in it he does a much better job of describing the gameplay that folks can expect from PlanetSide. Station Halo goes (semi) live
Peter Askam of HCC sends along the URL of a new Halo site: Station Halo. It's badly broken on Macs, though (NS, IE, and iCab), and Linux boxes (NS, Opera) - I didn't even bother looking on a Windows box. Check it out, though... who knows, it might get fixed. (Louis Wu 20:22:52 UTC)

German consortium forum opens
Mail from SOKAR tells us that Halo Empire has put up the largest German Halo forum - it's made up of 4 sites from three nations: Halo Empire and Halo Information Network from Germany, Halo.ch from Switzerland, and HaloZone from Austria.
