Back in Action
NOKYARD let us know that High Speed Halo

If They Like It Then They Might Just Put a Ring On It
With the announcement of Microsoft's acquisition of the Gears of War franchise from Epic, Polygon thought it fit to provide an opinion on how they feel that Halo 4 laid the blueprint for the next generation of Gears of War. It's an interesting read regarding the evolution of both series', and how the way Microsoft has handled one might clue us in to how they might handle the other. Check it out! Halo Waypoint put up an awesome preview of the upcoming novel Halo: Mortal Dictata, the third and final installment in Karen Traviss' "Kilo-Five" series. I'm tellin' y'all it's sabotage
Tashi from HaloGAF interviewed Gabotron ES about a new Halo 4 gametype he created called Sabotage. Inspired by Reach's Invasion gametype, Gabotron ES spent months modding and messing around with Megalo to create a gametype that would scratch that Invasion itch. Why I Game
This isn't really Halo-related, but it's video-game related, and the submitter shows up around here quite a bit. Gina 'Dogiojoe' Johnson has just kicked off a Kickstarter campaign for a book she's written called 'Why I Game' - it's a response to the 'video games are responsible for violence' reaction after many gun-related tragedies in this country. A Certain Sense of Scalemaster
Kotaku highlighted a fantastic piece of art by DeviantArt member Dirk Loechel that compares the size (and look for that matter) of an absolute mess load of starships from various sci-fi universes, including the obvious smattering of Halo craft. It's an awesome way to spend an hour just perusing over, and imagining them all as one massive fleet headed through the galaxy. Go and check it out!
