Primordium excerpts online
Want to get a head-start on Primordium, the next novel from Greg Bear (due out in January)? Tor.com has the Prologue and Chapter 1 online, and Halo Waypoint has Chapter 2. Nice! (Thanks, Archilen.) Zak/DeLeon talk from IDGA-Montreal 2008 found
zukan discovered a talk that Michael Zak and Vic DeLeon gave at IDGA Montreal, in May 2008 - it's nearly an hour and a half long, and it focuses on Halo 3 Flood levels, and how programming and art tie together in the making of the game. It's fascinating - and though we've seen some of the talk assets before, this is the first time I've actually seen the talk. Nice!

Halo Reach Game Finder - Updated
xBLACK V3N0Mx let us know that he's added new features to his Halo Reach Game Finder (we mentioned it yesterday), in response to feedback - you can now search for games older than a month (but don't go crazy!), and you can search via a custom date range. Very nice!

Tools for Gameplay Change?
There's definitely more coming down the road about the Halo: Anniversary package - Dan Ayoub teased Game Reactor with information about how there'll be a reveal at Halofest in August that will discuss "tools we're giving the player to maybe change that gameplay, if they want to."
