IGN UK has put together a list of the Most Influential Shooters of All Time - 7 are PC-only, 1 is multiplatform, one is for PS3 (the upcoming MAG - sort of silly to call it 'most influential of all time' before it's even released), and the final one... is Halo 3. - 'Just Drive' is a Goosetage from Olson Media - lots of splatter action
- 'Paramount' is a Halo 3 montage from Rezilient (editing by MM Mad Max MM) - lots of snipe action (and editing effects)
- 'The Real Spartans Episode 1 (Redux)' is machinima from Dragon Wolf Productions - lots of mysteries and shooting and stuff
- 'Top 10 Multi Kills Episode 1' is a new top 10 from SillyGoose - lots of kills

Shooting for the Stars
rolandk73 noticed a silly auction on eBay yesterday - someone was selling a Halo 3 Legendary helmet for one million dollars. The auction was over by the time I saw it... but the seller relisted (at a FAR more reasonable $100,000) last night (thanks, Mid7night). That auction is still live. VGChartz Most Hyped Games Ev - erm, Recently
VGChartz has an article entitled 'Top Ten Most Overhyped Games Ever, Part 2' - it's a little silly, since Part 1 covers the top 10 games on the first few generations of video game consoles, while Part 2 covers the top 10 games on the most recent two generations - I'm not sure "Ever" should be part of the title. - americanista123 whipped up a second Bungie Employee Bloopertage - fun (silly) moments culled from Bungie employee fileshares.
- Greenskull and SMG90 shared a machinima they call 'What The...' You'll probably say the same thing if you watch it.
- ooohemgeeeFTW compiled a short montage of footage from the Valentines Day Massacre weekend - fun in HD.

The Bungie Blog - A Bounteous Bouquet of Broadcast Bulletins
Last night was pretty productive for urk, over at the Bungie Blog - lots of local content, and even one new fan bit:
- The Sandbox screenshots that were unveiled in the recent IGN/T3 interviews (sometimes in really small sizes) are now all available, in beautiful hi-res, in the Halo 3 Screenshot Gallery. Swing by and feast your eyes.
- The next Community Spotlight feature has been posted - Facility B5D is a Bungie.net group founded originally to give people info about Recon armor, but has grown into a tightly-knit community of friends. Go see what goodies they've added to Bungie Favorites this week!
- The Bungie Online Team took on the Community Team on the Mythic Maps for the most recent installment of the Bungie Humpday Challenge - I think the Online Team can blame Stosh for their drumming. (I mean, hell, they blame him for everything else...)
- Bryan Simon has released the latest episode of his 'Voicemail Chronicles' series - and Bungie gets the news heads-up. It's always fun to listen to silly people ranting...

Can't finish what you started? Start something else.
Wow, this is just... silly. Back in mid-2006, Marvel announced that they'd be publishing a monthly Halo comic, starting a few months before the release of Halo 3. The delivery of these issues has become a joke - the fourth (and last) comic is STILL not out, having had its release date pushed back AGAIN, to March 4, 2009 (given that it's been pushed back more than a dozen times, the chances that we see it in March are slim to none). With that horrible record, you'd think Marvel would stay pretty far away from the Halo franchise... but you'd be wrong. According to io9.com, they used New York Comic Con to announce that they're launching not one, but TWO new Halo-based comic series, the first this summer (a five-issue run), the second, 'Halo: Spartan Black', next winter. MasterChiefn noticed that Halo 3 Fails Episode 8 is now live - there are some awesome funny moments in there. ZOMBIES HALOween Charity Tournament
News from kilaMOMjaro, of the PraetoriaGuard and Gaming4Others - they're running a HALOween Zombies Charity Tournament to benefit the Epilepsy Foundation. A promo pic with all the details can be found on the PG forum, and registration ($5) is now open at the G4O website (click through the pic). First prize is a copy of Left4Dead, a limited edition Halo 3 t-shirt signed by Bungie and RvB people (I'm on there too, somewhere - silly MOM), and a pillow case filled with candy. There are prizes for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places, too. Lots of fun, a great cause... how can you lose?
