An early look at Meltdown 2900d4u (and his brother, 2good4u2) pointed out an IGN walkthrough on the Dutch-branded version of the site that might have gone up a bit early. It shows off Meltdown, one of the last two Multiplayer maps (this one's a big one, made for Big-Team vehicle combat). Go check it out while you can! (There are also walkthroughs of Complex and Adrift that haven't been publicized yet.) Update: these are all offline now. Hope you got to see 'em first! (Louis Wu 20:45:22 UTC) (permalink)

Murder Miners Remakes
A few weeks ago, we mentioned Murder Miners - a low-res indie game that draws lots of inspiration from Halo. Over at NeoGAF, Awesome Barlow pointed out this thread on the Murder Miners forum - it contains all the user-created maps that remake classics from other games (mostly Halo, but CS is represented too). Amazing! (Louis Wu 15:45:20 UTC) (permalink)
Seal the blast doors!
Bravo made another of his literal breakdowns of a Halo trailer - this one looks at the Prometheans video. Awesome. (Louis Wu 15:44:19 UTC) (permalink)
Halo 4 X-Play Preview Exclusive
G4TV sat down with Kiki Wolfkill to discuss Halo 4 - and the interview contains some new campaign footage. (As always, stay away if you're staying dark.) Thanks, CyReN. (THC's Clicked actually summarizes the new stuff in a spoiler-containing video on their YouTube channel.) (Louis Wu 15:43:18 UTC) (permalink)
Oh the maps On Monday, A Halo Fan...natic posted a great parody of Gotye's 'Somebody That I Used To Know' - and the thread turned into poetry gold. (That might be a slight exaggeration.) I'd meant to highlight it then, but got distracted. Please don't penalize the participants for my carelessness... go read! (And participate!) (Louis Wu 15:41:40 UTC) (permalink)
It's Like We All Get a Golden Ticket This week's Halo Bulletin was delivered to us in golden fashion not only by the ever-svelte bs angel, but by the Halonian High-Queen herself, Bonnie "You're in Good Hands" Ross. The wise mother-spark lent her own words to assist the fans in gaining a more intimate grasp of the herculean task that 343 Industries undertook over the past few years to bring us the upcoming joy that will be Halo 4. It's a fabulous peer inside the studio's efforts, and a perfect match to bs angel's delivery of new screenshots and information from both the new Flood Mode as well as the new map, Abandon. A few remaining sprinkles on the update cupcake will certainly hold you entertained until next week's edition... or at least until Friday, when Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn debuts. At any rate, go read! Update, Thurs 9am ET: The local version is now online. Apologies for the delay! (GrimBrother One 05:32:56 UTC) (permalink)
