Believe Hi-Res Mirrors
trigger119 let us know that he's put up a mirror of the 720p WMP9 from Yahoo, as well as encoded (with H.264, 72 mb) a version in QuickTime. They can both be found on this page at GamingTV. For what it's worth, We've put up a 720p QuickTime, as well (62.5 mb) - this one is Sorenson 3-encoded, which should work on machines that can't handle H.264. (Louis Wu 19:57:32 UTC) (permalink)

Halo 3: Believe Kicks into High Gear
There is quite a bit of new information out there about the Believe ad(s) - if you visit the Xbox.com BELIEVE page (thanks, Avateur and Sep7imus), you'll find multiple versions of the 'Believe' ad (labeled 'Diorama' here), as well as a Making Of video (also visible at Yahoo, listed as 'Monument' - thanks, Fernando Paniagua), and finally a link to a Halo3.com page that contains a very cool flythrough of the diorama itself (with TONS of extra stuff). MLGWiki opens
Broderick Shoemaker sent us a note that MLG has kicked off a Wiki that contains (or will contain) tips and tricks, strategies, and info on all three Halo games. (Other games, too - anything MLG plays.) They're looking for input from you, the fans - because that's how wikis work. Go see what's there already, and add your own goodies! Big numbers from Wedbush Morgan
Another financial analyst weighs in - according to Next Generation, Wedbush Morgan's Michael Pachter believes that Halo 3 will sell 3 million units in the first 12 days, and help Microsoft sell more than 400,000 Xbox 360s by the end of September. Dman82 (along with others) hosts CBR, a podcast that focuses on the Red vs Blue community. The latest episode has interviews with Halo-related artists (including HBO regular Pinkuh) - but it also has a special announcement.
