In preparation for tomorrow's official Halo 3 Beta kickoff (for the vast majority of participants, rather than the small group that's been playing for the past few days), Bungie has put up a comprehensive guide to the Beta - check it out for details about everything from networking to controls. [T]rickity Trick Four
Heh - cool. goatrope stopped by our forum to point out a new vid - [T]rickity Trick Four. Lots of jumping, a cool film glitch, and a hilarious use of a Bubble Shield on Snowbound - take a look! DivX format, 66 mb, hosted by Mythica. Update: some folks were having trouble with the encoding on that original release; there are now options. Medals, Medals, and More Medals
Wayward Spleen™ has started to model the Halo 3 medals, in high resolution; you might remember that he did this for Halo 2, back in the day, as well. sorahn is doing a great job of keeping track of the known medals at this stage, and Narcogen, at Rampancy.net, is doing the same - and now we'll have nice, hi-res versions as well! (sorahn, by the way, asks that if you've gotten the 'Hail to the King' medal (5 kills from the hill without dying), you send him a game link, so that he can add the medal to his page.) Tied the Leader Tuesday
Tied the Leader has a bunch of new content for you (kudos, as always, to XerxdeeJ, for allowing us to be lazy and click through from our own forum) - the standard features, a 22 Questions interview with Chris Paladino, of GamerScoreBlog, and a Community Profile of a group called Game Almighty, along with beta-related stuff. There's a tester poll, looking for your beta impressions, and a summary of the New York press event, with a podcast and cool pictures.
