Halo 3 Beta Weekend
The flood of thoughts and impressions about the Halo 3 Beta continues to roar through the internet's tubes, flooding the habitats of poor ferrets the world over:
- Associated Content discusses some of the changes between Halo 2 and Halo 3 (I don't know where their info comes from, in some cases)
- The New York Sun looks at the effect of Halo on society
- Pro-G has a Halo 3 Hands-On
- 411Mania has a preview
- Gametrailers has a two-part walkthrough (thanks, Nevan) - Lars Bakken plays and talks (and dies a lot, because it's really hard to narrate and pwn at the same time)
- HaloNorge has a multipage guide to the beta in Norwegian
- Eurogamer has put up a screenshot gallery of beta shots, and posted a First Impressions article
- MSNBC was in New York for the press event Friday
- MyGEN has posted a Hands-On
- The BBC's Darren Waters (he's written a number of Halo articles in the past) has been playing the Beta all weekend, and has written up some of his thoughts
