Halo Scale Comparison - Now Updated with Halo 4 Objects Back in 2005, Stephen Loftus created a Scale Comparison in Halo article - showing you how various structures and vehicles and characters fit together, size-wise. Over the years, he's improved this project, adding new items from later games and slotting them into the existing structure. He's done this again, and it's a HUGE advance; at the time of the last update (January 2013), there were 27 pages of images. Now there are almost 50. Swing by and dive in - it's fascinating! (If you've explored the collection before, you'll want to scroll down to the bottom of the main page - click on the Ark to get started on the cascading scale pages. That's where all the goodies are hiding.) (Louis Wu 21:46:05 UTC) (permalink)
Summer Games Done Quick - Full Halo Run Now Archived If you, like me, allowed goatrope's speedrun of Halo PC, performed for charity a couple of days ago, to pass you by without tuning in, shame on you! (And on me!) However, Ibeechu stopped by with links to rectify the problem. You can still donate (SGDQ is still running!), or you can just jump over to YouTube and watch goat go. It's a really, really enjoyable experience; goatrope does an amazing job of commentating as he's running, and STILL manages to focus on the tricks he's performing to shave time off. He didn't beat the world record for a the full game Legendary run (he set that himself a few weeks ago), but he still went sub-2-hours for the full run... amazing! (Ibeechu also put together a highlights reel, which is funny but not really a highlight reel.)

Tyrant's Halo Wars Legendary Walkthrough - Levels 6-10 The Tyrant has turned out another 5 levels in his Halo Wars Legendary Walkthrough - swing by to watch his strats on Dome of Light, Scarab, Anders' Signal, The Flood, and Shield World! (If you missed the first five levels, they're here.) (Louis Wu 21:39:46 UTC) (permalink)
Podtacular E3 2014 Special: Gearbox's Randy Pitchford Dust Storm let us know that Podtacular has a pretty special podcast release - he sat down with Gearbox's Randy Pitchford at E3 2014k. The resulting interview is about 10 minutes long; you can listen to Randy's thoughts on Gearbox's contributions to the Halo franchise, and what he thinks about the upcoming Master Chief Collection. Go grab it! (Louis Wu 21:34:17 UTC) (permalink)
Pieces: A Master Chief Tribute To celebrate his birthday (Happy Birthday, AG!), AssaultGodzilla whipped up a short (under one minute) Halo Music Video set to Sum 41's Pieces. Go watch! (Louis Wu 21:17:18 UTC) (permalink)
