27 seconds of reverb Malukah is back, and I'm in love. (It's platonic, I'm happily married... but that voice is amazing.) She's covered the main menu music from Halo 4, and I want someone to swap it in so I can hear it every time I launch the game. Thanks, GryphonOsiris.

Microtransactions coming to Halo 4? Mr Daax is unhappy about the news that Halo 4's creators are considering adding microtransactions to the game. Does the idea of monetizing the game further bother you... or do you look forward to being able to buy new skins for your weapons? Weigh in! (Louis Wu 19:53:31 UTC) (permalink)
Versus Ep 1: MLG 1v1 on Guardian aPK has kicked off a new series with xClicked - they're playing 1v1s in various games. Episode 1 is MLG 1v1 on Guardian, in Halo 3. Good stuff! (Louis Wu 19:51:36 UTC) (permalink)
Halo 4, segmented, in an hour and a half slYnki is back with another segmented speedrun - this one is a full-game run (on Easy) of Halo 4... in under 84 minutes. Excuse my drool. (Louis Wu 19:49:59 UTC) (permalink)
We're going on a BOB Hunt! Lord Friendship has jumped back into BOB hunting - he's killed his 52nd BOB, and compiled a sortable table showing all the runs he's actually done so far - amazing. Go check it out! (Louis Wu 19:47:19 UTC) (permalink)
ODST now a GonD Back to Halo news: according to Major Nelson, you can now buy Halo 3: ODST (well, the campaign section) on Games On Demand - it went live today! A quick search of XBL Marketplace turns up the price - just $14.99! Grab a copy, and have what might just be the best Halo campaign available at your fingertips. (Louis Wu 17:29:52 UTC) (permalink)
Pathways... again I posted this on DBO, but it's big news for ALL Bungie fans, and gamers in general; two big-time fans rebuilt Pathways into Darkness to run on modern Macs, and released the product (with Bungie's blessing), for free, on the App Store. If you're too young to have played Pathways when it first came out (in 1993), or you weren't a Bungie fan until recently, or you simply didn't have access to a machine that could play this... here's your chance. Grab a copy, and relive the early days! Major props to Mark Levin and Bruce Morrison, who created this out of their love for the studio and its roots. If you need more info about the game, Hamish Sinclair still maintains pid.bungie.org! (Louis Wu 17:23:40 UTC) (permalink)
