Too Drunk To Tube - a bungie.org contest
We got some goodies for giveaway at PAX. Unfortunately, I packed them up for shipping before I had a chance to take pictures, or even a solid inventory. (A handle of Captain Morgan's might or might not have had something to do with the thought process involved.) If you're the kind of person who likes to receive stiff tubes filled with unknown goodies... swing by our Too Drunk to Tube page and sign up. We'll pick two lucky winners on Monday, and send you what's coming to you! (Louis Wu 19:52:17 UTC) (permalink)
Halo 4 Gameplay Preview from Inside Gaming Extended
Inside Gaming's Adam Kovic and APL Fisher released a video of E3 gameplay (it had been hiding in their archives, unreleased) - the commentary is new, but the gameplay (and engine build) is from June. Worth a watch! Thanks, CyReN. (Louis Wu 18:55:25 UTC) (permalink)
Tanned Signatures - Brilliant!
DeeJ, the man with a moral core that's too big for its own good, has posted another Mail Sack on Bungie.net. Philosophy, silly memes, and a new puzzle will all vie for your attention - go read! (Louis Wu 17:55:11 UTC) (permalink)
Dumb title, worthwhile concept
Normally, I don't like posting links to articles with titles like "Top 5 Reasons Why HALO 4 Could Be Awesome Or Could Disappoint" - they're usually written for pageviews alone, and are a waste of your time and mine. But I sort of enjoyed this one - it looked at five aspects of the Halo series that either have a lot to live up to, or a lot to answer for. Can 343 pick the right road? We'll all know in a couple of months! (Louis Wu 17:54:29 UTC) (permalink)
A Cruel View of CTF, Regicide, and Spartan Ops
Nevin 'CruelLEGACEY' Douglas sent word of two new videos for your aural and visual enjoyment - GrimBrother One (wearing his Waypoint Community Modcast hat, not his HBO beret) interviewed Kevin Grace about Halo 4's CTF and Regicide modes... and CruelLEGACEY put together a video featuring his (and his friends') Spartan Ops playthrough at the show. Go watch! (Louis Wu 17:53:33 UTC) (permalink)
Simulated Halo 4 CTF Playdate Recap pete_the_duck wrote up his thoughts (and included a couple of videos) recapping his experience of a Reach playdate in which they tried to simulate Halo 4's CTF settings. Good stuff! (Louis Wu 17:52:40 UTC) (permalink)
Anoj Top 10 Ep 54: Epic Fails
Somehow missed this yesterday - but Jordan Bell reminded us that Anoj had released a new Top 10, this time focusing on Epic Fails. Definitely some fun ones!

Real Flying Marathon Frisbee
Mid7night spent some time modeling and planning so that he could have Shapeways create him a Marathon Logo frisbee... with its offcenter hole intact! Check his post for pictures, a video, and a link to buy your own, if you want one! (It ain't cheap... but it's oh so cool!) (Louis Wu 17:51:02 UTC) (permalink)
Fails of the Weak 103
Urban Reflex snagged the announcement kudos for the latest episode of Fails of the Weak - you can watch it at AchievementHunter.com or on YouTube. They're not all fails, but it's a pretty good collection of clips, no matter what they are! (Louis Wu 17:49:38 UTC) (permalink)
Halo 4 wallpaper
smiichy stopped in with another Halo 4 wallpaper - this one's a bit busier, but if you like color, it's got you covered!

Halo 4 Examined: Promethean Vision Changes
Bravo put together a great vid showing off the changes to the Promethean Vision ability between the E3 and PAX builds of Halo 4. For folks who were worried that it was too powerful... worry no longer. Thanks, Heckfu.

Multiplayer Gameplay from PAX, via GT
Gametrailers have gotten into the offscreen-Exile-footage-from-PAX game - pretty nice camera placement! (I feel a little sorry for whoever was actually playing; I'm guessing there was equipment in the way.) Thanks, DancingJesus.
