Over at DeviantART, there's an artist named Rene-L who's put together a series of Halo/comic crossovers; the most recent (as pointed out by Joony Joon) is Halo Goes the Avengers, but you should also check out Halo Goes Marvel, Halo Goes DC, Halo Goes Ghost Rider, and Halo Goes Spiderman. Rooster Teeth has a new 'exclusive' trailer up at EW.com (not really exclusive, since they've just embedded an unlisted YouTube video, which you can watch on YouTube.com if you want) - awesome to see them on a site like Entertainment Weekly! MLG vs BTB Game 4
The fourth of the four matches between MLG pros and BTB team Wake Up has now been casted by u4iX and gomollypop - it's a slayer match on Trident. It's really interesting to watch the back-and-forth between raw skill (the MLG guys have a leg up here) and map knowledge (the BTB guys are better at finding power weapons, setting up sneaky sightlines, etc). 'I could make it work'
Rupert Sanders, the guy who made the Halo 3: ODST commercial (and the in-theaters-now Snow White and the Huntsman) did an interview with MTV - in it, Sanders suggests that he could actually make a Halo movie that would be successful... if he were given creative control. (Given the history of this project, that sort of control probably isn't going to happen... but it's interesting to hear.) Thanks to Complex Gaming for the heads-up. Sounds of Halo (Flash! Bang! Remix)
Over at NeoGAF, Sai-kun pointed out a Soundcloud creation that uses Halo sounds to make a song. We've certainly mentioned similar efforts in the past (this post links to a LOT of them, and this one is more recent still), but for the most part, they're percussive. This one integrates some actual soundtrack music into the mix, and the end result is pretty cool!
