Halo (the original) for really cheap Whoa. FyreWulff pointed out that starting tomorrow, and running through November 29, Halo: Combat Evolved will cost 400MSP (a 67% price reduction) - if you don't have a copy, $5 is a hard price to pass up! (There are a bunch of other games with vastly reduced prices - check his post for full details.) Update: KP clarified that the list from Kotaku (which is where FyreWulff found this info) was incomplete; Halo will ONLY be on sale on Friday, November 26. Keep that in mind when you're gearing up to purchase... (Louis Wu 22:56:16 UTC) (permalink)
Bring loads of money - and leave the lawyers Frank O'Connor talked to Kotaku recently about the idea of a Halo movie - he really sounds pretty positive about the whole idea. Thanks, CaptainTony! Update: looks like Kotaku might have... um, gotten some of the details wrong. Thanks, Frankie. (Louis Wu 20:37:42 UTC) (permalink)
Oblivion in Halo Reach
Odd - soFallenfilms created an Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion machinima... in the Reach engine. Sort of. Man, if you got in trouble every time you picked up a weapon... heh. Thanks, Moorpheusl9. (Louis Wu 20:22:52 UTC) (permalink)

More Waypoint Goodies Grim already mentioned the Waypoint Noble Map Pack gameplay - while you're over there, they've got a couple of other videos you might enjoy watching. There's an OutREACH feature with the 405th's Adam Grumbo, and a trailer for 'Franchise Player', a new Grifball miniseries coming soon to the channel. Go watch! (Louis Wu 18:35:17 UTC) (permalink)

IGN weighs in on DLC maps
IGN has THEIR Noble Map Pack review up now, as well (thanks, ChrisTheeCrappy) - they've also got video footage, and text-based impressions. Pretty positive overview! (Louis Wu 17:25:46 UTC) (permalink)
GamesRadar looks at The Noble Map Pack ElzarTheBam noticed a review of the Noble Map Pack on GamesRadar - videos of all three maps (look at the maps, not the gameplay) and some written impressions. There's also a sentence which might raise a few eyebrows: In fact, they're giving us 30% more Halo: Reach next week for absolutely free. We haven't goten confirmation from Bungie or Microsoft yet, but I'd assume that's a mistake; Gamestop, for example, expects to sell this product for $10. Right or wrong, though, the review is a decent look at the upcoming maps. Update: looks like GR corrected the post (thanks, Decommissioner) - the maps are not free. (This should come as a surprise to NOBODY.) (Louis Wu 17:24:20 UTC) (permalink)
The Great Escape
BierWiser found a pretty cool video clip from a game on Spire - and filmed it from a number of angles, so you could see what was going on. Luckiest player EVAR! (Louis Wu 17:23:39 UTC) (permalink)
Reach Service Record App
On NeoGAF, user bluestuff pointed out a free app for iPhones/iPods/iPads to give you B.net stats, challenges, and screenshots - not bad!
