Domino's Grab Bag Giveaways, Round 12 - Winner
It's Winner Central here at HBO - Dom's Grab Bag Giveaways ALSO has a winner: James Qian will be able to choose from Dom's long list of prize options. (The list is still visible on the contest page, even though you can't enter the next round yet.) A bit of administrivia: we still haven't heard from Blissful Rage, who won the LAST round. We're going to wait two more days (until Sunday evening around 8pm PST), and then pick a new winner for that round. Remember: if you enter one of these contests, be sure to check to see if you won! Even if you miss the email, it's posted on our front page (search for "Giveaways", for example), and it's listed (for at least a few days) on the contest page itself. Thanks!

Legendary Tidbit
When Cody began recording the Halo: Reach cutscenes, we discussed areas that might have different dialogue based on difficulty level - we didn't find any. Therefore, there is only one version of each cutscene in our library. However, Phlux stopped by today with a minor (but pretty significant) change that occurs in one of the scenes near the end of the game (story spoilers in both the discussion and the dialogue) - you have to be playing on Legendary, and you have to have the IWHBYD skull on (and even then, it's not a given). Reach Playlist Updates

September Reach Sales in US: 3.3 Million
IGN posted some sales stats for Reach, according to NPD - 3.3 copies sold in the US during September. This matches the first 12 days of sales of Halo 3, back in 2007 - making Reach only the third game of this generation to sell more than 3 million copies during its launch month.
