Chattering Chabobs of Chegativity
Out all afternoon, here's a quick roundup of the new stuff on Bungie.net's Comm Chatter:
- Crazy Fish Productions released a splatter montage. I can't tell you about it, because YouTube seems to be down at the moment.
- Today's Tag and Release feature spotlights images taken on the Lost Platoon Firefight map. 'Epic' comes to mind.
- HaloCharts' Sticktoberfest contest is over - and results are up. The winner played 977 games over the course of October (that's an AVERAGE of more than 30/night), and AVERAGED 6.4 sticks per game. That's rather insane, if you ask me.

Waypoint content grows
Halo Waypoint continues to churn out new content - today a video interview with Frank O'Connor went live, explaining how he found himself in his current position as 'King of Halo' (I made that up). The rest of the week will see a new PSA from Red vs Blue, a collection of Screenshots, a strategy piece explaining your enemies in ODST, a Behind the Scenes video of the making of 'The Babysitter', and more! MLG Anaheim: tD beats Str8
Congratulations to Triggers Down, who beat Str8 Rippin 6-5 in the finals at Anaheim to walk away with the MLG First Place finish - and $20,000 - in the last regular-season event of the year. Full results and (rebroadcasts of the matches) can be found at MLGPro.com.

Hints of future greatness
Adam Grumbo tells me it's not really news, but I think I disagree. He's posted some pre-production test footage the 405th crew put together while trying to see what sort of low-light capabilities their camera had. The answer seems to be 'pretty nice!' There's no script, no real plot - it's just a few minutes of test footage. The potential, however... is amazing. Folks on their forum were asking for the footage so that they could add sound/lighting effects - he's made the clip available for download on 405th.com. If you want to play, grab a copy and get modifying!
