Cutting Remarks. Stuntmutt simply couldn't resist the bait offered by 343 Industries with The Babysitter; a special Sunday One One Se7en looks at the issue. (Personally, I'd hesitate making comments like that next to a guy who obviously knows his way around a sniper rifle...) (Louis Wu 16:49:28 UTC) (permalink)
Star Fell Teaser
A week or so ago, FireDragon04 told us about a teaser poster for an upcoming machinima project, Star Fell - today, there's a Teaser vid up on YouTube. Nice work, if a little light on content! Take a look - it's only a minute long. (Louis Wu 16:01:58 UTC) (permalink)
All people needed to do... was believe.
DesignCritique has a look back at the Halo 3: Believe ad campaign, to see how it worked with the benefit of hindsight. Not surprisingly, it holds up, two years later. Amazing stuff! (Louis Wu 15:58:08 UTC) (permalink)
Halo: FTW 2 Back in January, 2008, we mentioned a mod for Halo PC called 'Halo FTW' - Pepsi and Nessa were adding lots of shiny new textures to the game. The original screenshots and the fly-through movie are long gone - but they're working on releasing FTW 2, a remade version of the mod. If you swing by this thread at ModHalo, you'll find pages of new videos and screenshots (this shot is pretty impressive, though it takes quite a while to load - not surprising, given that it's 11.5 mb). You can also find most of the videos at Pepsi's YouTube channel. Congrats to Pepsi, Nessa, Tucker933, DeadHamster, and Kvasir - this stuff looks pretty good! (Louis Wu 15:52:40 UTC) (permalink)
Flying your own Wombat
Mid7night officially released a playable F99 'Wombat' for X-Plane 9.40 - if you want to fly it yourself, swing by and download a copy! (Louis Wu 15:52:17 UTC) (permalink)
