Arby 'n' the Chief: Endgame (Part Six)
Arby 'n' the Chief has (finally) ended - Endgame (Part Six) is now online. Arby gets Claire, Chief gets Recon, Bungie gets stoned. Guilt O' Lantern 09 - It's On, Baby
It's October. Leaves are turning here in New England (well, there was a lot of wind last night, so they're falling, more than turning, but...). The air is crisp. It's that time of year when thoughts turn to bonfires, and candy, and... pumpkins. Yep, we're holding another pumpkin-carving contest. Prize details haven't been fully worked-out yet, but the deadline (Halloween) is fast approaching - we wanted to give you a few weeks to create your masterpiece. So we're announcing now. The drums, the drums...
Grimm Fandango, over at NeoGAF, pointed out that someone went to the trouble of recording the drum track that plays during the fifth wave of a Firefight set - it's not available on the ODST soundtrack, and the poster did a great job of grabbing a pretty clean version. Frankie stopped in last night to allay some fears about Microsoft's "6 year plan" for the Halo franchise; give his post a read to see what was (and wasn't) meant by this quote. (He also posted a link to a meme-rich gameplay vid he created this summer; you can chalk this one up to the medication he's on, I think. The franchise info is solid, in any case.)
