Imitation... for the right reasons?
Interesting blog entry over at Lawrence.com - Matt Cox (known to many as Mothergoat around these parts) talks about the trend towards real instruments in game music these days, and how the Halo franchise may have sent the wrong message to developers; instead of focusing on the QUALITY of the music Marty and company created, they focused on the DELIVERY of it, mistaking the medium for the message.
