Halo SETI Marines 7 day stats posted The Halo SETI Marines keep their position in the top 50 Club Teams, due in large part to the addition of several new members - welcome, jcampen, ducky sauce, and signum! DarthFlounder seems to have been unsuccessful at finding all the machines running clients for him, since he passed the mythical 7777 mark this week... but the precedent was set the week before by Tharkhaad, so we'll forgive him. Overall, crunching was up, a bit, by the team... nice going! Are YOU holding up your end? Check the 7 day stats to see. (Louis Wu 16:10:25 UTC) (permalink)

The feature is called 'The Battle of Seattle', and compares the Xbox to the Nintendo GameCube. Halo gets touched upon when they discuss the realistic abilities of the Xbox: Just take a walk through the space station in Halo, an action game based on Larry Niven's classic sci-fi novel Ringworld, and you'll notice fingerprint marks on triple-glazed windows.
Well, Ringworld misinformation aside, it's always nice to see a Halo mention in the mainstream press... (Louis Wu 13:38:07 UTC) (permalink)
