mechdesigns - amazing models
Over at NeoGAF, JuanGGZ pointed out a guy who modifies model kits; some of his creations are Halo/Mecha hybrids. There's a page showing off his GM Halo MkV, a page with some work-in-progress shots of that project, and an older project he's labeled Master Chief Zaku. Incredible stuff! 343 is remastering the universe
Computer and Video Games has a small look at what 343 is showing us... and what they're continuing to hide. When the small campaign demo shown at a number of events was described by those who played it, some fans expressed unhappiness that we would once again be facing Elites and Grunts; after all, didn't we finish the fight with them? As CVG makes clear, though, this is just 343's way of making us feel comfortable before dumping us into totally new environments. What will we face? Well... we don't know much, yet. A leak, of sorts... from McFarlane
dogcom stopped by yesterday with some packaging for upcoming McFarlane toys... and the back panel includes pictures of some brand-new enemies we haven't seen yet. If you're staying spoiler-free, do NOT visit this thread. GrimBrother One was kind enough to edit forum subject lines to remove any mention of the new characters... we'd love anyone thinking about speculating to keep in mind that spoilers should NOT go in subject lines. Quirel let us know about a pretty cool video called "The Art of the Instakill", which shows off some of videogaming's most notable one-hit-kill weapons and the characters who wield them. It can be assumed that Halo shows up in a brutal way. Also thanks to DustStorm for reminding me that the video was produced by Corridor Digital. Go and check it out!
