ThreeA's Carter gets more facetime
Shadders posted a bunch of pics of the ThreeA Carter statue coming at some point (we don't have release info) last week - today, Mr.Sci-Fi stopped by with some of the same pics... and a movie. (The video is footage from a Hong Kong event where the photos were taken - following the link above should take you right to the Carter footage.) (Tom Van Sinden 21:23:37 UTC) (permalink)
Halo 4's billion year secret
Nice - CVG has posted a complete Halo timeline, originally published in Xbox World Magazine. Interesting read! Thanks, ElzarTheBam. (Tom Van Sinden 18:33:20 UTC) (permalink)
Halo 1 Single Segment Speedrun - under 80 mins
Wow. SlYnki stopped in with a link to a new vid - this one sets the record for fastest single-segment Halo (first game) runthrough on Easy. Total time is 1:19:37 (what... you couldn't shave another 2 minutes off that time?)... and incorporates 10 years of tricks. Go watch! (Tom Van Sinden 17:38:00 UTC) (permalink)
OXM's thoughts on MC's new nemesis
OXM UK wishes they knew more about the new enemies we're going to face in Halo 4 - and because we don't have any hard data, they've decided to start speculating. The first article is up now. Thanks, ElzarTheBam (who seems to be unhappy with the speculation). (Tom Van Sinden 17:24:25 UTC) (permalink)
Global
RVideo was the first to point out Global, a new community montage from Mattisson. There is some pretty amazing editing on this one, coupled with great gameplay and astounding audio synching - my only real complaint is that some of the clips are too short to really get a handle on. Go watch. (It's worth the massive HD download, but good at any size.) (Tom Van Sinden 15:18:28 UTC) (permalink)
Top Chief
I'm still in the middle of 'real work' - Halo news will have to wait a bit longer... but ManKitten sent along a link to today's w00t shirt; it's Halo-related, and it's time-sensitive (it's only available today, and once they're gone, they're gone, though they might come back for the Reckoning later on), so go look!
