Details continue to emerge about Halo Wars
Devil Mingy ran across a smaller 1Up Preview of Halo Wars, and this one mentions (for the first time that I can remember, anyway) the inclusion of the Flood in the campaign portion. This has led to some unhappy speculation on our forum - is Ensemble messing with Halo canon? (The Halo Wars timeline takes place 20 years before Halo, the game - and an encounter with the Flood at that stage of UNSC history would make certain parts of the game far less sensible.) What's been goin' on
Tonight's Bungie Weekly Update contains a congratulatory mention of the fact that (although it didn't happen exactly on Bungie Day) the 7 billion campaign kills goal has, indeed, been reached - it was hit earlier today. There's also a summary of the past week, a short teaser of things to come... and a sizeable sampling of the sort of nasty private messages Luke gets over the course of a week.
