September 14, 2010 Link to this post Folks need heroes, Chief. We've mentioned Roger Travis before (most recently at the launch of Halo 3) - but he's back, with more on his thesis that Halo's story plays the same role to the current generation as the 'Aeneid' played to listeners in Homer's day. (No, he's not saying that Halo should be considered grand literature - just that epic stories are important for inspiration, and Halo qualifies.) Definitely an interesting read - and if your boss sees it, hey, it's the Wall Street Journal! Thanks, Jtyettis.
