Missing In Action Trailer
The DuoGroup has always been known for top-notch machinima - and their latest offering, a trailer for 'Missing In Action', doesn't disappoint. It's only a minute long... but it uses Reach's assets to fantastic effect. Go watch. (Thanks again, urk.) (Louis Wu 17:31:42 UTC)

Thunder From Above
The Duo Group doesn't produce a LOT of Halo 3 machinima... but what they DO produce is top-quality. Their latest entry is 'Thunder From Above' - a teaser for the upcoming Halo 3: ODST game. Gives me chills. (Louis Wu 17:14:06 UTC)

Machinima Film Festival Nominations
Sgt_Hartsock let us know that This Spartan Life has been nominated for two Mackies (the Machinima Film Festival awards) - it's up for Best Series, and Best Original Music. If you want to learn more, he's set up a club for the show at 1UP.com. Other Halo content up for Mackies this year: Smooth Few Films' Bag Boy (we mentioned it in February) has been nominated for Best Short Format, Best Voice Acting, and Best Writing, and Without Providence (a film I'd never seen, but which you can find on the DouGroup's website) is up for Best Cinematography. (Jonathan Quail, which used to be hosted at GamingTV, received an Honorable Mention in that category.) Blackstone [Log 1], from Dispatch Films (we mentioned it in July) is up for Best Sound Design and Best Editing. And finally, Campaign Episode 1, from William Urbina (another new one for me) received an Honorable Mention in the Best Editing category. (Louis Wu 16:13:05 UTC)
