B is for Butthead The new Halo Bulletin is online now - and has been since last night. (Thanks, MacGyver10.) The main focus is Halo: Spartan Assault (new screens, new desktops, a bit of history in how it came about), but there's also quite a bit of info about the Matchmaking playlist updates... and some internal trash-talking. And some very blue screenshots. As always, you're welcome to read it locally, for a lighter experience, in our Halo Bulletin Archive. (Louis Wu 20:15:04 UTC) (permalink)
PGCR 165: Keeping it Clean Robowski shot us a note about Post Game Carnage Report 165 - it's their first-ever Safe for Work episode. They talk about current weapon tuning, Halo 2 campaign moments, and more! (Louis Wu 20:07:10 UTC) (permalink)
Project Mombasa - 4 years in Beerbuca stopped by with pictures from Project Mombasa, a long-standing project to build the Halo version of New Mombasa in Sketchup. (If you want to see how far this has come in the past couple of years... here was his last post on the subject.) (Louis Wu 20:02:14 UTC) (permalink)
Kynan Says Goodbye Kynan Pearson was Lead Multiplayer Level Designer on Halo 4's Spartan Ops and War Games - and yesterday, he posted a farewell on the Waypoint forums. He's moving to Austin for family reasons (might we see him again in the future at Certain Affinity?) - all of us here at HBO wish him the best! We'll miss you, sir. (Thanks, pete_the_duck.) Bridging Initiation and Spartan Assault Yesterday, Halo Waypoint posted an interview with Brian Reed, the author of Halo: Initiation (a comic series that begins the Sarah Palmer story that will be continued in Halo: Spartan Assault). Go give it a read! Thanks, Grizzlei. (Louis Wu 19:56:03 UTC) (permalink)
