RTX - Through the Visor of a Helmet
Wow, how awesome. The 405th put together a fantastic video showing how much fun they had at RTX this year - keep an eye out for celebrities (Halo and otherwise!). The best part, though, is how much enjoyment there is in all of it. Thanks, bsangel. (Louis Wu 20:29:10 UTC) (permalink)
Halothon - now under way!
Last week, we mentioned a charity auction to raise money for SpecialEffect - we neglected to point out that part of the same effort was going to be a Halo Marathon, in which all games would be played! The actual marathon kicked off a couple of hours ago - you can watch it live, on their site, and toss some money in the pot for their craziness! (Louis Wu 20:26:38 UTC) (permalink)
Dust and Echoes Episode 17
Woaf sent word that Dust and Echoes 17 is now live - this was recorded during Comic-Con, and contains lots of FUD discussion, as well as commentary on the Multiplayer stuff that came to light this past week. Go listen! (Louis Wu 16:52:02 UTC) (permalink)
LASO Challenge, Winter Contingency (Tyrant and RC Master)
The Tyrant's LASO Challenge Guide continues with a Co-op No-Deaths run on Winter Contingency, featuring Tyrant and RC Master. Go get 'em, guys! (The Tyrant did this alone almost a year ago - this is a Co-op version.) (Louis Wu 16:50:22 UTC) (permalink)
Halo Bulletin, 18 July 2012
The Weekly Halo Bulletin went live on Halo Waypoint last night - and it's full of questions (and answers!) from fans who either participated in the RTX and SDCC events, or watched footage from those events on the internet and wanted more info. Great stuff. Go read. (It's in our Halo Bulletin Archive, as well, if you're having trouble with the login or anything.) Be sure to embiggen the images; they're... worth clicking through. Halo Fans Give Generously to Charity
Amazing - mastrbiggy's auctions of signed Halo 4 posters for charity have just a day and a few hours left on them... but bids already total over $800! You guys are amazing. (If you haven't gotten in on the action yet... fewer than 30 hours remain!)
