What could have been
The MTV Multiplayer Blog has some interesting tidbits gleaned from Brian Jarrard during a play session last week - Bungie had considered a "Halo 4", telling the story of the Master Chief after he woke up from the cryosleep he entered at the end of Halo 3. (The ide never really made it out of pre-production.) And Reach will not "open up a whole bunch of doors that [they're] not going to close" - this is good news, given that they're moving away from Halo! Go read the details.
