Oboe Solo from ODST

Saving Money on Halo Stuff
Two Halo-related deals popped up in the Google news feed this morning. Amazon.com will be offering a pretty cool bundle, starting Tuesday: an Xbox 360 Elite, bundled with Halo 3: ODST and Forza 3, for $300. Halo Waypoint: lots of new goodies.
The Halo Waypoint team sent word of cool stuff you can find on their channel this week - The Halo Reach Multiplayer Vid is there, along with the final episode of Rooster Teeth's 'Grifball Expansion'. Tomorrow, there'll be a new feature on the Forerunner Fleet, promising a look at the mysterious ships as they appeared in Halo Wars. If you've got a Gold Xbox LIVE account - go check it out! The Top Ten Halo 3 Screenshots theme this week is "Faces' - if you hated Oonsk, don't visit, because these will get stuck in your head. Shots like 'The Inner Child', though, are simply amazing.

In honor of Marcus Lehto's birthday, the Bungie Developer's Blog has released a ringtone (in a couple of flavors) of Marcus describing his neuronal firing. Go grab a copy! If the US army owned Halo3
Toxic Mayhem pointed out a video that went up on YouTube just a few days ago - but it was clear that it's a much older vid, so I did a little digging. Apparently, it was originally released in September 2007, just before Halo 3 came out. (We missed it then.) Regardless, it's funny - go give it a few minutes of your time. No, the Bungie Weekly Update doesn't provide you with the skinny on the Multiplayer Trailer teases. That doesn't mean it's not worth reading, though - lots of good stuff in there. Everything from a clean version of the trailer's soundtrack (C Paul - you rock) to winners of the emblem contest, to a really funny Blame Stosh vid... and even more. Go read.
