Another Route into the Reach Beta
This is really interesting - I received an email this morning that (I assume) went out to all subscribers to the original Xbox LIVE service (or maybe to folks who'd played Halo 2 online, or maybe just to people who used an original Xbox online). Microsoft is offering some goodies for folks who will be losing their access via the original Xbox - a 3-month LIVE Gold membership, 400 MS points, and (what might be MOST interesting) a code to participate in the Reach Beta. For folks who passed on Halo 3: ODST, this might be the best way to get into the Beta - though it doesn't seem like something you can finagle after the fact.
