GameStooge says Halo 3/Halo best of the series
Naveeda noticed that Game Stooge has their own '50 Greatest Games of the Decade' - Halo 3 came in at #6, Halo at #4, Halo 2 and ODST aren't on the list. Update: De Laal points out that Halo 2 is at #38. (I didn't find it because some of the navigation links are bad - and I didn't notice I was searching the 50-41 list more than once.) More end-of-year awards
Terminal Gamer picked Halo 3: ODST as their 2009 Xbox 360 Game of the Year; they might not know that the 'O' in 'ODST' stands for 'Orbital', but they know quality when they see it! Newsarama.com liked it, too - It won 'Best Xbox 360 Exclusive Game 2009'. The Bitbag is putting together its Editor's Choice Awards, and ODST made the nominees lists of editors Chad Betteridge (Best FPS Game, Best Multiplayer Game, Best Original Score), Spencer Thompson (Best FPS Game, Best War Game, Best Original Score), and Torrence Davis (Best Story, Best Original Score). Halo Wars also got a Best Strategy Game nomination from Thompson. We'll have to wait and see how this turns out! Update: Bitbag Editor Jon Shaw added his nominations - ODST is up for Best FPS, Best Sound, and Best Multiplayer, while Halo Wars is on the list for Best New IP, Best Strategy, and Best Tech. - HALO 3: ODST Commission 1 is a piece that Cryptcrawler did as a commission for Bungie - I don't know if it was ever used, but GEEZ it's amazing. (Thanks, Darknesshasfallen.) This is labeled 'Commission 1', and the description states it's one of two - but the other one is not visible in his gallery. There IS, however, a 'Progress' image showing the development of this one.
- The Great Journey is a gorgeous pic from julian399 of a Halo pulse (thanks, Metalingus627).

Halo Marathon
