How much deer would be left after a Splazer blast? A couple of Hawty McBloggy readers have been channeling Jeff Foxworthy recently... looks like there's a new list to help you decide whether you're a Redneck Spartan or not. Go see! (Louis Wu 12:14:42 UTC) (permalink)
CVG looks at the decade's games
CVG's been running a series of articles called 'Games of the Decade' - as of now, they're up to 2004. Halo made the 2002 finalists (huh?), and actually won that year. Halo 2 was a finalist for the 2004 list (though it was edged out by World of Warcraft in the end). We'll keep an eye on this list - my guess is we'll be discussing the 2007 list in a few days. (Maybe the 2009 list, too.) (Louis Wu 12:10:23 UTC) (permalink)
Grin + Bear It: Punday Comic #1
Totally forgot to point out Sunday's Grin + Bear It, over at Hawty McBloggy's - awful, awful pun, almost makes me miss Stuntmutt. ...waitaminute... (Louis Wu 12:08:05 UTC) (permalink)
What I've Done.
AssaultGodzilla released a new HMV set to Linkin Park's What I've Done - amazing that all that footage works together. Take a look. (Louis Wu 12:06:17 UTC) (permalink)
2good4u2 - Haloramics II
2good4u2 let us know that he's released his second Halo 3 panorama montage - gorgeous pics, set to great music. Go watch! (Louis Wu 12:05:57 UTC) (permalink)
Halo 3 Online Directors Cut Whoa. New Deal Studios has completed a director's cut demo commercial based on the visuals originally designed for the 'Believe' campaign. (This was directed by Matthew Gratzner, who designed and directed the original web campaign.) It's spectacular. Go watch it. Update: There's a very cool 'Behind the Scenes' video on New Deal Studios' website. (If the link doesn't work for you, go to the home page, then click on 'Reel' over at the right. From there, you should see 'Behind The Scenes' near the top - the 'Halo 3' link will take you to a video that shows th full 'Believe' commercial, and then two minutes of very cool footage showing the entire set under construction. Thanks, Brooke. (Louis Wu 00:17:16 UTC) (permalink)
