The Babysitter loose end tied up in Evolutions
Apparently, everyone who's read the story noticed this, but nobody thought to bring it up on our forum, until zofinda posted yesterday: the Japanese architecture, seen in 'The Babysitter' episode of Halo Legends a few weeks ago and generating quite a bit of scorn from fans, is addressed in the final piece in Halo Evolutions, the short-story collection released a couple of weeks ago. Nice to see stuff tying together!

Reach continues Bungie's in-engine cinematic tradition
It shouldn't be a surprise to long-time Halo fans, but Reach cinematics will be in-engine, just like previous Halo games from Bungie have been. (This tweet was in response to a comment about the Halo Wars cinematics, which are NOT in-engine.) Thanks, John117.

Alto solo from Halo ODST track Finale
Josh Ruble pointed out a video on YouTube - Alacaboose spent some time teaching himself the Alto sax solo from the last track of Halo 3: ODST. Nice job!

The Package - on Waypoint today Just a reminder - The Package is available for one day only (today) on Halo Waypoint. If you miss it, your next chance to see it will be when you purchase the Legends DVD in February. Frankie has agreed to stop by and answer questions - so if you have any, swing by the thread! Update: looks like I might be wrong about that 'last chance' thing... (OuterWorldVoice is Frankie) (Louis Wu 17:20:06 UTC) (permalink)
urk wants his tongue massaged. The Bungie Weekly Update is back, after a hiatus brought on by Tryptophan and evil in-laws. (Wait, that might have been something else.) Looks like the studio was busy this week, showing off Reach to selected members of the press (don't expect to see the results of these visits before next month, unfortunately). They've got stuff to sell you, stuff to be snarky about, and cool zombie stuff. Go read! (As always, it's in our Weekly Update Archive, if you've got a problem with B.net.)
