Engineer Evolved
Bungie's posted a 'post mortem' on the Engineer - where the character came from, what it looked like early on, what inspired its creation, both in form and function. Great stuff! Go read. VGA'S Reach footage to be non-trivial

Can Jackal teeth handle sugar?
Hawty McBloggy ran across a fantastic-looking Jackal mask that was in the works for this year's Halloween festivities. (No word on whether it actually got finished in time - this was a work-in-progress pic from early September.) The creator, DeviantART's randomflyingpigeons, is no stranger to Halo-themed Halloween costumes - she went as a Grunt in 2005, and then again in 2008 (and MAN did she get better over those three years!). IGN's Top 25 Xbox 360 Games (Day 3)
IGN has returned to the 'Top 25 Games' well - this time, the list is 'Top 25 Xbox 360 Games', and Halo Wars and Halo 3: ODST came in at #12 and #11, respectively.
