Flaggin' it Double XP this week is Team Flag - and the list is live. Full details can be found on Bungie's Playlists page (or hey, Bungie.net's front page) - but hey, it's Flag. What more do you need to know? Go capture some. (Louis Wu 18:43:38 UTC) (permalink)

Unmasking the story of Halo 3: ODST elzarthebam noticed a new ViDoc on Xbox LIVE Marketplace this morning - it's called 'Dramatis Personæ' (well, that's what Bungie calls it; Marketplace lists it as 'Unmasking the story of Halo 3: ODST'). It's just under 8 minutes long, and it's FULL of story spoilers - but if you've played the game, it's a great look at how the story of ODST evolved over the development period, and what Bungie wanted you to get out of it all. It's filmed in the same location as Terra Incognita was; it seems to be a followup to that film. At the moment, it's only available on XBLM - but I assume it'll be available for download from Bungie.net soon. (If not, we'll ask if we can provide download links.) Go watch it! Update: According to urk, this is only officially available through the ODST Intel (Extras) menu - it's a thank-you for the fans who bought the game. (Makes you wonder why there's a link for it on Xbox.com, then...) What this means for folks without LIVE is that it is not currently available on the web (and we can't change that for you). Sorry! Update 2: SketchFactor clarified what happened - and pointed out a YouTube version which might hold you over until high-quality downloads are available. Update 3: Bungie is working on getting high-quality downloadable versions available, but in the meantime, you can grab some from us (these were rendered from the Marketplace versions, and Marty will be disappointed by the fact that the audio channels have been merged, but they should tide you over):
HD versions are 1280x720, SD versions are 640x480. If you want the REALLY good stuff, wait for Bungie's versions. (Louis Wu 13:55:21 UTC) (permalink)
