They're not doing so hot, so far. (That's good.)
As of about 15 minutes ago (9:30 am Bungie Time, 12:30 pm EST, 4:30 UTC), Bungie teams had played a total of 50 games - and won 18 of those. (Depending on whether or not they give Recon to folks who TIE them, that means either 116 or 128 fans have already won Recon today - unless they've disqualified themselves in some other way.) Remember that there are a LOT of people trying to win this way (there are currently over 120,000 people in the playlist), so your chances aren't GREAT - but hey, even if you don't match against the Bungie team, you STILL get to play some cool maps, and have fun on LIVE! Will Solve Puzzles For Recon
Want more chances at Recon? Bungie's got you covered! Roger Wolfson created a pretty cool little puzzle a couple of years ago, involving the Red vs Blue crew, Halo 2, and some stats. Solve the puzzle... win Recon! (It looks pretty hard.) Update: puzzle solved - if you're tired of wracking your brain (or you just want to be sure you nailed it), go read. (Remember - only the first five correct respondents will win. Annual Achievement - not on LIVE?
Hey, neat! The Loot checked in with word that the Vidmaster Challenge: Annual achievement (we just posted a pretty slick walkthrough for it yesterday!) does NOT need to be unlocked over Xbox LIVE - one of their group doesn't have a Gold account, so they tried it over System Link... and unlocked the achievement. That's pretty great news!
