Bungie's taken Friday off to enjoy the July 4 weekend - but they put up a Weekly Update all the same. Lots of screenshots of maps that will be part of the Bugnie Day playlist, plus important news for those of us who haven't actually PAID for Bungie Pro (if you got it free with the Mythic Maps, today is your last day). Go read! As always, a local copy can be found in our Weekly Update Archive. (Louis Wu 19:14:51 UTC) (permalink)

Halo 3 Mythic Guide Version 2.0 - Tsavo Highway
As we mentioned yesterday, the next phase of Tyrant's Summer Mythic Recon Challenge involves the level Tsavo Highway - so to make your life a little bit easier, his revamped guide to the level is now up in the Halo 3 Mythic Walkthrough V2.0. Not only is there a set of suggestions for a relatively safe completion of the level - there's a 'Kamikaze' version that whips you through the first half of the level in 4 minutes. Go read, and watch! See if you can beat his times. (Louis Wu 14:20:54 UTC) (permalink)

Breaking In - Chris Opdahl
There was a new Breaking In article posted last night - Chris Opdahl (Campaign Design Lead for Halo: Reach) discusses how he got his current job (and I gotta say, there's potential for a sexual harassment lawsuit in there), and what you can do to increase your chances if you want to follow him.
