The Flaming Ninja Challenge 2
pete_the_duck is back with another obstacle course - the Flaming Ninja Challenge 2 is a for-fun romp through a modified Blackout, doing your best not to die. Check out his post for full details! (Louis Wu 20:05:14 UTC) (permalink)
ConK3rS' Master Chief Helmet
ConK3rS has been building a pepakura Master Chief helmet - he sent us a bunch of pics. Amazing to follow the progress! (Louis Wu 19:53:29 UTC) (permalink)
Get a rare McFarlane Figure, Save Women InnerRayg made mention of this a couple of days ago, but KP pointed out today that it really hasn't been announced on our front page: there's an eBay auction going on right now for a sealed McFarlane Orange Hayabusa figure, packaging signed by Bungie employees. A signed figure by itself is worth something... but the Orange Hayabusa is apparently quite rare (it was only released in the UK), and unsigned models are going for upwards of $300 on eBay. Buy this one, raise mad money for the Fight Like a Girl Charity Tourney - money will go to breast and cervical cancer research. You've still got a couple of days - go bid! Oh, The Irony In honor of its first birthday, ZZoMBiE13 has created a new episode of Another Halo Comic Strip - I had to laugh. Check it out. (Louis Wu 15:45:01 UTC) (permalink)
Denial Will Get You Everywhere
Hawty McBloggy found a pretty funny parody vid - OtherJesus says that if playing Halo is wrong, he don't wanna be right. (If you're not familiar with the Amy Winehouse song he's parodying, you can find it here.) Hawty assures you that any similarity between the addiction described by the song and her own Halo record is just coincidental. (Louis Wu 13:54:51 UTC) (permalink)
SBG BTB Invitational Recap
Over at Tied the Leader, you can read about the 1st Annual BTB Invitational, organized by the SBG clan. The final match has now been played, and friends were made across the net. If you want to know who WON, though... well, XerxdeeJ makes that a little bit of work. Read the article for details. (Louis Wu 13:51:12 UTC) (permalink)
Being wrong isn't a democracy. Red vs Blue: Reconstruction Chapter 18 is now online for sponsors and the public alike. The story is being brought to its conclusion (only one more episode in the series), and things are heating up - but there's still plenty of comedy to keep things light! Go watch. (They've also completely overhauled their website, so don't be surprised if things look a little different.) (Louis Wu 13:37:42 UTC) (permalink)
MLG/ESPN Top Ten #11
MLGPro.com has posted its 11th MLG/ESPN Top Ten - as always, some really nice clips. (The 3-shot extermination commentary made me laugh.) Thanks to urk, now firmly ensconced in the Bungie web content booth, for the heads-up. (Louis Wu 13:27:55 UTC) (permalink)
