Lots of Halo schwag - for charity
My7hos has been putting together a whole bunch of his Halo schwag for auctions - and he's now decided that all proceeds (past the costs of running the auctions) will be donated to the TTL Foundation. Great cause, great idea! Go see what he's offering; the auctions aren't up yet, but he's fleshed out the lots. Update: The first set of auctions is now online. There is no mention of their proceeds going to charity, because eBay doesn't allow that if the charity isn't registered as a 501c-3 entity, but that's what will happen. Go bid! Marissa's Bunny - Time to Say Goodbye
I think Fairfax's visit to HBO Headquarters is nearing its end. (It started here, and was followed up here.) He tried to tour the Yale campus (since it's pretty much right next door)... but it just wouldn't stop raining! While he waited, he explored a local brew pub... and I gotta say, once he was finished in there, the rain was irrelevant. When Fairfax wakes up, I'm gonna have to send him to someone else. If you smiled at all following him around the office, you should visit the Marissa's Bunny website, and see what you can do to help out! Grinchian Grins and Color Blindness
The Bungie Weekly Update is up... but it's light. If you're not interested in golf (and Bungie's playing of it), and if you've already listened to the podcast... there's not a huge amount of material that's new. There are (vague) details about the release date of the September update, there's some cackling about new Banhammer upgrades, there's a cool reference to the latest work of Jamie98s... but still, go read. You'll make Luke happy; except for the weekly updates, all he's got to do all day is play Halo and eat pizza. Wow, no front-page link yet, but a new Bungie Podcast, dated September 4, has been released this evening - It's available both on iTunes, and in .mp3 format downloadable from the RSS feed.
