A Halo Live-action Short - coming soon!
Devastator has shown up around the halo scene a few times - he's got a set of Nightmare Armor that he's worn to several high-profile Halo events, and he's got a large Legendary tattoo on his leg. Seems he was recently contacted by a group looking to film a live-action Halo flick - he's put up some pictures on the GameGoons forum. The final product should be out soon - they're just finishing up the special effects. We'll keep you posted!

This week, the Halo 3 Humpday Challenge was another "let's play random games in Matchmaking and call it a match" entry - except with very pretty pictures. Maximum Fear Competition - Cortana Speedrun
Maximum Fear is hosting a contest - complete the campaign level Cortana on Legendary faster than anyone else, win a $25 Bungie Store gift certificate. Them's Some Expensive Halo Cars

Halo 3 3v3 tourney in WA this Saturday
bigazn13 let us know there's going to be a 3v3 Halo tourney in Bonney Lake, WA this coming Saturday, April 19 - $35/team to enter, $30 of each entry will go into the payment pool, split 70/30 between first and second place. Par Avion
blackouTT let us know that he's posted his entry for GamingTV's Laughs for Cash competition - you can download it and decide what you think about it. Par Avion is a spoof of many other machinima projects, and follows the travels of a player in Matchmaking after he picks up a mysterious object. Very nicely put together, with some funny jabs at the genre. (Plenty of swearing, so turn down the volume a bit if you're watching this at work.) The panorama craze continues - Crab has sent us another 6, including two from the new Legendary maps and 4 from older multiplayer locations (I LOVE the Avalanche cloud system!), and nomis78 stopped by with a pair from Avalanche and one from Construct.
