Revisiting the Set
Wow, this is very cool. pete_the_duck decided to see if he could use the camera coordinates (shown when in pan-cam mode, and visible in cutscenes) to revisit cutscene locations while in Theater mode. He was successful in a number of locations on the Ark. Check out his pics! (Louis Wu 12:56:38 UTC) (permalink)

Don't use this on your little brother.
Hawty McBloggy ran across another life-size, made-of-steel energy sword for sale on eBay. It ain't cheap - but it's pretty nicely finished! You've still got three and a half days to decide - current bid is just under $175. (Louis Wu 12:07:08 UTC) (permalink)
Out of Bounds Panoramas
Well, yesterday's news was frozen at midday in order to keep the Vidoc story at the top; I thought it was a worthwhile sacrifice. However, it means there's a bit of built-up queued news at this point... let's start with some very cool panoramas posted yesterday by RVideo. (There's also one extra one in this post.) He's been playing with getting out of bounds with the 'pan-scan' camera - the pictures he's getting are glorious testaments to Bungie's artwork in areas that you normally can't see much detail. Check 'em out! (Louis Wu 11:50:14 UTC) (permalink)
