Here's your chance - a tour of Bungie!
If you've read our news for any length of time, you've read the name 'kornman00' - he's been a long-time Halo fan, and he currently has something he wants to share with you. Back in February, he won a charity auction that gave him a two-person tour of Bungie Studios. A FULL tour. The person he was planning on going with had to back out - which leaves him with one spot. We're helping him make sure the person who gets it is someone he can get along with. Go read the full details, and if you've always wanted to get into that building... make him an offer! This is why my kids won't play Halo 3. Warbow gives you a good argument for staying away from tools like Forge in the latest Calvin and Halo. Sigh... (Louis Wu 22:23:27 UTC) (permalink)
Bungie Recommends... 1Up has posted a preview of Halo 3, as part of its Halo 3 info flood - it's a very short look at gametypes. Looks like Lichtonatus was first. Update: Theyv'e added Revisiting Halo 2, Part 2 (Arbitration), now, as well. Thanks, LoneRanger 2.5. (Louis Wu 22:21:57 UTC) (permalink)
A Fall Launch. Stuntmutt was thinking about how much fun you can have with Forge - check today's One One Se7en for more details. (Louis Wu 18:11:16 UTC) (permalink)
Free Mobile Goodies - for Members
Atoyot let us know that Windows Mobile is offering free ringtones and wallpapers, among other things, for Windows Mobile Owner Circle members. No clue how good they are, though... I'm not a member. (Louis Wu 15:01:20 UTC) (permalink)
Is one of them named Dolly?
Haloplayer continues his Injured Knee Productions Countdown Comics - number 2 is now online. (Louis Wu 14:59:20 UTC) (permalink)
Next up: Staples, maybe? Avateur stopped by last night to point out that Radio Shack is now selling Halo 3 - and their 'screenshots' section contains a few pictures that haven't been seen before. (Thread readers seemed to like this one a lot.) (Louis Wu 14:57:07 UTC) (permalink)
